SDPMart Saalna Masala Mix is a carefully crafted blend of traditional spices that brings the authentic taste of South Indian saalna to your table. Perfect for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preparations, this ready-to-cook masala makes it easy to create a rich, flavorful, and aromatic curry with minimal effort. Whether paired with parotta, chapati, dosa, idiyappam, or rice, it delivers the comforting taste of homemade saalna in every serving.

Cooking Instructions

• Wash 1 lb of chicken or mixed vegetables thoroughly.
• Mix the entire pack of masala with 300 ml of hot water to make a smooth paste.
• Heat 100–125 ml of cooking oil in a pan. Add the prepared masala paste and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
• Add the chicken or vegetables and cook until they are evenly coated with the masala.
• Pour in 600–700 ml of water, or adjust to your preferred consistency, and cook until the ingredients are tender.
• Stir in 300 ml of coconut paste or coconut milk and simmer for a few more minutes.
• Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and curry leaves before serving.

Note: This pack makes approximately 2 liters of Saalna.
