SDPMart Sambar Mix with Dal is a convenient blend of authentic spices and premium dal, specially crafted to help you prepare delicious South Indian-style sambar with ease. This ready-to-cook mix delivers the perfect balance of flavor, aroma, and traditional taste, making it simple to create a wholesome homemade sambar. Just add your favorite vegetables and enjoy a rich, flavorful dish that pairs perfectly with rice, idly, dosa, or vada.

Cooking Instructions

Wash 1 lb of mixed vegetables (carrot, beans, eggplant, drumstick) or radish thoroughly.

Heat 100 ml of cooking oil in a pan. Add the vegetables and cook for a few minutes. Pour in 900 ml to 1 liter of water, or as required, and cook until the vegetables become tender.

Add the entire pack of SDPMart Sambar Mix with Dal and stir well. Cook for a few more minutes until the sambar reaches the desired consistency.

For an authentic finishing touch, heat 3 tablespoons of ghee in a small pan. Add jeera (cumin), dried red chilli, curry leaves, and coriander leaves, then pour the tempering over the sambar.

Serve hot with steamed rice, idly, dosa, or your favorite South Indian dishes.
